Biography
Native to Chicago Illinois metropolitan area, Neill received her BFA from The Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus Ohio, and her MFA from The University of California, San Diego. Currently, she resides in Houston Texas. Up-in-coming exhibitions include a solo exhibition in November 09' at Lawndale Art Center in Houston, and a solo exhibition in January 2010 at Women & Their Work in Austin Texas. Neill is a 2009 Houston Art Alliance Individual Artist Grant recipient. Her work was recently published in Cantanker Magazine Issue 8: Anxiety. Previous residencies include the Johannstädter Kultutreff in Dresden Germany and the Diverseworks Real Art World in Houston. She has exhibited nationally at venues including the LA Design Center and Acuna Hansen in Los Angeles, CA; Limbo Fine Arts in San Diego, CA; 1300 Gallery in Cleveland, OH; Arthouse in Austin, TX; and Diverseworks, Lawndale Art Center, Box13 Artspace, and 125 Gallery in Houston. In addition to her art practice, Neill is full-time faculty at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston Glassell School of Art and an instructor at the Houston Center for Photography.
